Just a short entry, not PCOS related (horraaaay)
My Zac is nearly 20 months old. He's been speaking since the beginning of March, and seems to be learning new words every day. Some of the words are very clear, other words are very similar to what he's trying to say. He's also fluent in double dutch & gobbledeegook.
The funny thing is, although I know exactly what he's saying, some of his "similar" sounding words are very much like swear words...
Sock... "Cock"
Hello Kitty... "Hello Titty"
Chicken..."Shittin"
Sit.. "Shit"
My mum (hilariously) taught him "cock a doodle do". Obviously he can only say the first bit, "cock".
Recently we were at the park, and he had a football. The football rolled out of his reach and as he was running to retrieve it another toddler went to pick it up. Zac, out of nowhere, shouts at the top of his voice.... "MY BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
Time stood still.
Today, he was "shittin" nicely with his "ass-ul"
(not actual pic, but you get the idea....)
There are many, many words that I'm worried about teaching him.
E.G.
Truck
Clock
and the abstract...
popcorn...(cockcorn?)
Although, I could be completely wrong, & my son has an issue with verbal diarrhoea (keeping the blog medical, of course).
Any similar experiences?

Pelvic Pain and Endo Fear
I'm becoming increasingly concerned that I do not just suffer with PCOs, but that I also have Endometriosis as well.
A lot of the symptoms I have attributed to the PCOs.
However, I do have intense pelvic pain (It feels almost "inside" the bone, like I need to drill into it or something) and upper leg pain. It's definitely in a different location to the ovary pain that I have become so accustomed to. I have lower back pain too, which I just assumed was my kidneys.
When I bleed, I bleed clots. I had a conversation with my friend about this, she bleeds in clots too. We both kind of assumed it's normal but we're also smart enough to know that it probably isn't. Pain during intercourse too. TMI... I also have really bad pain in the bum area. Shooting pains, sometimes it feels like it's tearing open. I thought this was a charming side effect of giving birth and the whole area being traumatised by the small human that passed through.
So I typed all these symptoms into everyone's best friend Google, and a whole host of endometriosis pages came up. BUGGER.
PCOs & Endometriosis are mutually exclusive, but I'm pretty sure they can co exist. This site explores any relation between the two. My concern is simply that I do have both.
So here's the big question... Do I wait until early May when I'm due to go back to the docs about PCOs and my gyno referral. Or do I book an appointment now and visit (4th time in as many weeks...) to discuss my fears of endometriosis.
I'm not paranoid. I dedicate a lot of time researching these things because I just know something isn't right. Relying on trusting my instincts really.
I'm aware that the only way a person can be diagnosed with having endometriosis is through undergoing laparoscopy. For this, I definitely need to be referred by GP to a gyno. That could be a problem.
If I do have both PCOs and Endometriosis, I consider myself the luckiest woman on the planet. I've read about so many women struggling to conceive with just one of these conditions. For the women with both, it seems to be a constant uphill battle. Here I am, worried about my conditions, watching my beautiful 19 month old toddler running around causing havoc with his toys. Just a private bit of food for thought, and boy am I grateful.
Lesson we've learnt?
Google doesn't always suggest cancer.
