Just a short entry, not PCOS related (horraaaay)
My Zac is nearly 20 months old. He's been speaking since the beginning of March, and seems to be learning new words every day. Some of the words are very clear, other words are very similar to what he's trying to say. He's also fluent in double dutch & gobbledeegook.
The funny thing is, although I know exactly what he's saying, some of his "similar" sounding words are very much like swear words...
Sock... "Cock"
Hello Kitty... "Hello Titty"
Chicken..."Shittin"
Sit.. "Shit"
My mum (hilariously) taught him "cock a doodle do". Obviously he can only say the first bit, "cock".
Recently we were at the park, and he had a football. The football rolled out of his reach and as he was running to retrieve it another toddler went to pick it up. Zac, out of nowhere, shouts at the top of his voice.... "MY BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!".
Time stood still.
Today, he was "shittin" nicely with his "ass-ul"
(not actual pic, but you get the idea....)
There are many, many words that I'm worried about teaching him.
E.G.
Truck
Clock
and the abstract...
popcorn...(cockcorn?)
Although, I could be completely wrong, & my son has an issue with verbal diarrhoea (keeping the blog medical, of course).
Any similar experiences?

Max now says 'racist' & 'talcmaballs'. He also thinks our eldest cat's name is 'shutupmackie'.
